About

Hildebrand Strategies Inc. is a full-service political consulting firm with a specialty in field/grassroots strategy, research and communications. The firm was built on the success of one of the most heralded grassroots issues campaigns in recent history the campaign that defeated President Bush’s plan to privatize Social Security.

Our team is led by Steve Hildebrand, who worked as Deputy National Campaign Manager to help elect Barack Obama President.

At Hildebrand Strategies, we understand our clients’ needs and how to help achieve your goals because we have walked in your shoes. As individuals and as a company, we have created, implemented and won both political and grassroots issues campaigns all over the country. Some examples include:

  • U.S. Senator Barack Obama’s and Vice President Al Gore’s campaigns for President in the 2008 and 2000 Iowa Caucuses.
  • Two successful state-wide ballot measure campaigns that defeated anti-women South Dakota legislation prohibiting abortion in 2006 and 2008.
  • Senator Sheldon Whitehouse’s pivotal victory in the 2006 Rhode Island U.S. Senate race that helped give the Democratic Party control of the U.S. Senate.
  • Senator Tim Johnson’s landmark victory in the 2002 South Dakota Senate race.
